Why the changelog did not included the new WWII models name?

 

Its no so hard to list them in It.

So, from the changelog it looks as if the Normandy performance issues in VR are not fixed? We should still follow Wags recommendation to set "MSAA and Anisotropic values to zero, and instead enable these only through your graphics cards settings manager"? Also the crash after mission is still in?

Strange, as last week they mentioned that they where working on bugs.

Huge 7.5 Gig patch!...I am sure things can be done better, more efficient, we are not all on fibre!

 

This could mean that more textures where updated to support physical based rendering? Although, it was not mentioned in the changelog.

Nice changelog. Hoping for maybe a little performance improvement for Normandy in VR, we will see.

 

Did not see mention of quick mission generator working for Normandy in this patch? I was thinking that was coming with this one.

Yeah, we got AAA Flak 18, 20, 36, 37 and Flak-Vierling 38..... and an AAA Bofors 40mm (just a first look into the ME!) - Flak-Vierling 38 works for CA, other not tested!

So - just to clarify - with this patch HDR is automatically turned off when Deferred Shading is enabled? Is there a benefit in that? Not sure if I am missing much without HDR enabled, but the cockpit does seem a tad dark - unless that is unrelated (gamma).

 

@OnlyforDCS: For me, the performance is about the same (non-VR), tested the Huey in NTTR and the L-39 over Normandy.

 

But man, that gamma set to a lower value like 1.2 really makes the outside look good (but then again, the cockpit feels way too dark then. :)

Unless the reaction to threat is set to "none" B-17s scatter and don't stay in formation. Does this mean they don't shoot back either?

 

Try changing the options for ROE as well, sorry I am not at my gaming puter so I cant recall the exact settings, but you should be able to make them fly level and stay on track under fire.

2.1.1 - I Can fly with shadows enabled again - With 2.1, I had to turn them to flat only due to erratic framerate. I can run them on medium again, which adds so much to the immersion. Thanks for the update fellas!

Sith. How can i set a B-17 to fire while keeping the horizontal flight without evading?

 

I see the B-17 firing defensive now but still evading and breaking the horizontal flight plan.

I should have brought this up in another thread as this is supposed to be for patch notes, but play with the Reaction to Threat options, there is one in there that keeps them flying on route but will still fire defensively. Again, sorry I am not at my gaming puter, dont remember the exact name of the option.
