PogMoThoin
Hi folks, I've installed DCS Black Shark on our dedicated server we got on a rack in a datacentre (Quad Xeon, 8Gbram, hardware raid), updated to 1.01c, but I can't get it to run, crashes every time I try to launch the Multiplayer. After some reading I realised that the game needs a directx9 gpu and audio, which the servers not got. Is there any way to get it going as a dedicated server? EtherealN
Unfortunately not. The "dedicated" servers you see online are actually boxes (often co-location) with GPU's running the standard server. PogMoThoin
Ok, thanks for Your quick reply. They did promise dedicated server support, how likely are they to add it?
Wildgoose
Ok, thanks for Your quick reply. They did promise dedicated server support, how likely are they to add it? Would be nice to know if or when a dedicated.exe is likely to surface? Especially now with the FC2 online compatability.
