Che non vi venga in mente di usarlo come avversario AI.

E' completamente stealth, ossia il radar del Mig-21 proprio non lo vede. I missili IR nemmeno anche se non ho provato l'R-60M a dire il vero.

Accelera più del 21 a qualsiasi quota.

Forse i russi hanno sbagliato a radiare il 19 per il 21, avevano sottomano il caccia definitivo.

ps: rileggendo vecchi messaggi mi sembra di aver capito che lo stesso team del 19 stia lavorando al 23. RIP per uno degli aerei che attendevo con più ansia. :(

Powerplant: 2 × Tumansky RD-9B afterburning turbojet engines, 25.5 kN (5,700 lbf) thrust each dry, 31.8 kN (7,100 lbf) with afterburner.

 

MIG-21

 

Powerplant: 1 × Tumansky R-25-300 afterburning turbojet, 40.18 kN (9,030 lbf) thrust dry, 69.58 kN (15,640 lbf) with afterburner.

Credo che l'FM della AI sia gestita da ED. Ricordo che Heatblur lamentava la stessa cosa per l'F14.

Maximum speed: M2.05 at 13,000 m (wikipedia)

 

 

Dato che eravamo intorno a M.09 direi che qualcosa non torna, e mi ha pure raggiunto :D. Questo senza entrare nel merito che anche lo vedevo volare tranquillo (con vista esterna F2) a 140kt ed angoli d'attacco assurdi a più di 6000m.

Con...quanto ha? 60° di sweep?

 

 

In ogni caso non sapevo che l'FM degli AI fosse onere di ED, ci sarà in mezzo un po' di mio pregiudizio per l'Harrier.

Bene, serve qualche livrea per questo gingillo.

 

All’ultimo giro di sconti l’ho preso e per il prezzo di due pizze va benissimo.

Il modello di volo ha ancora bisogno di un ritocco (sembra quasi un fbw, è proprio sui binari ed ha anche troppa potenza) ma è comunque parecchio divertente.

Se la cava anche in aria-terra, come nel f-5 si imposta la,depressione del reticolo e poi tanti kmh da tanta quota e con tanto angolo.

Non aspettatevi però la qualità del mig21 o del f5, siamo parecchio lontani da quelli.

RAZBAM 2021 Q2 Update

 

Yes, the beloved -19 is getting some more work done, while not as extensive a lot is adjusting the missing or non-functioning key binds. This work is being done by a new support coder. This simple work will help them get up to speed on the SDK and working within DCS code so that we have better support in the long term with existing and future modules.
