When you see it you'll understand why it has taken so long. I wont' be surprised if some people say- OMG, how they've managed to do it so fast! :)

If plus-minus few months estimation could be made it would be present in the Press Release, I guess.

Can we please about sticky thread like theorethical class room to get knowledge about every part, system of Ka50 or procedures, tactics to prepare for the first flight after couple months? We will be more busy and won't be dally :D (sounds like blackmail). I think about posting some videos that will go for training implemented in BS too. I know they are about to start be making but every part that will be finished could be posted here in some time periods. We could ask then more questions and training might be filled with more tips in final release. What do You think?

time has warped for me

Time goes fast guys, hell...I'm almost 30...

I was 30 a year ago. Now I'm 57. :P When I first heard of ED viagra hadn't been released so imagine my dismay to learn it was about flight sims! LOL!!!

I recall someone telling me that youth was wated on the young. As a young man, I thought he was off his rocker!:music_whistling: I've been married for nearly 33 years, and what I know about relationships boils down to two words: "yes, dear!":megalol:

akkk! her she comes! gotta go!

Flyby out

ps it's still tough wating on Black Shark though.

The U.S. Congress is the best governing body that BIG money can buy.

More like 2011-12.

Maybe but untill then we'll have DCS: Black Shark (I hope) and for some fast paced fun I don't mind starting Lomac and just enjoy that...

I think I'm too patient to start panicking about when something will be released, but that might be a sideeffect of marriage.

Cheers

Happy birthday.

Sorry, but given the mission editor and campaign system are still in work, single and training missions still need to be made, campaigns have to be created, a great deal of debugging lies ahead, the manual needs to be completed and the product needs to go through manufacture, distribution, and placement… 2007 will certainly not happen. Right now we are looking at sometime in 2008, but given the wide range of things that can happen between now and ship, we are intentionally keeping the date vague to avoid missing a more specific release date.

question about the manual and instruction demos

About the manual, please tell me it will be a proper bound paper version :) It's so much easier to have the instructions right in front of you when you're trying to learn new controls.

Oh, and about the in-game instruction demos with voice overs, will you be able to take control or are they watch-mode only as in Lomac?

being able to take control with the voice-over and possible graphical "pointers" would be extremely helpful, almost like having a teacher next to you just pointing at the right button while explaining what it does, and you yourself get to flip the switch so to speak. The memory works best when you combine the senses, hearing, sight and touching (pressing the right buttons.)

Both PDF and the option for a seperate hard-copy version are planned.

Training is planned to have voice-over replays with recorded mouse position that the user can take over. We're also looking into flash-type training videos.
