KittyVCAW-1 Posted February 14, 2019 Share Posted February 14, 2019 I've noticed it consistently takes 3 presses of the on/off button on the UFC to activate the TACCAN navigation equipment. Not sure if it's just me, a bug, the way it operates in real life? But it doesn't seem like it's turning on the way it should. I apologize if this has been addressed, I did a search and found no results. I guess I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed it? Nobody likes me because I'm unsafe. derodo Posted February 14, 2019 Share Posted February 14, 2019 I noticed this too. I think it needs to be pressed for a little longer. Short clicks don’t seem to work, but if you keep the button pressed for a little while it always works on the first try. toutenglisse Posted February 16, 2019 Share Posted February 16, 2019 When I follow the procedure, TACAN ON works with just 1 click. Press "TCN", press " : X", press "ON" (just 1 click works for me), press "CLR" and then enter your TACAN frequency and press "ENT".
