Need some advice to setup Helios

Hi there,

i tried to setup up / create a simple helios profile for A10c, but it looks like i am messing something up and cant find the issue.

I also tried to download an available profile (for the F15) from Cpt Zeen, but i cant manage to get this running either.

here is what i did

- install Helios

- launch the profile editor

- add a DCS A10C interface: set the A-10C Setup path to E:\games\DCS World OpenBeta\ (my install directory for DCS)

- click on SetUp button - this creates successfully an export.lua file in ...user\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts folder

- i quickly created some elements for the profile (MFDs, A10 gauges, used the "reset monitor" feature)

Then i launched the Helios Control Center, loaded the profile and started it, started DCS but i never get anything displayed.

It seems like Helios is not getting any info at all

Do i need to copy the created export.lua file anywhere ?

Do i have to change anything in addition ?

edit: i also tried to find ready to use A10c profiles, but all found links are dead...

Have you watched this? If not it should get you started. Sounds like you never setup your viewports.

You can find a link to the CapLoz A10C profile on my site in downloads section.

Then use my latest export files to run it.

My export is cpompatible with A10C cpLoz profile and all my profiles. So dont create a setup with hellios if you want to use one of those, or Helios rewrite over the export.lua, ruining all.
