I think you must ask SAF to redo the paint this year, cause the last 11 paint was made in 2016.

We know it's missing, it will coming rather later or soon.;)

Fantastic skins, but is there any way to have them only appear under Switzerland as a country? These load up even when playing as other countries.
+1 on that!

I have to rework every description file everytime ;)

Just to get it right:

When you set the country in the description.lua to SUI only, you limit yourself to select a Swiss skin when playing online. Not many online servers have Switzerland included as a country. I know the skin is only visible to yourself but thats far enough for me :joystick::pilotfly:

Are you sure? :smartass:

Why do you want to limit yourself? :D

i understand your sight for the MP. But when i select USA i have 60+ liveries in the list.

For someone, who like it as real as possible, it drives me crazy when i see swiss skins when i want to fly for the US.

Dont get wrong, its not a dealbreaker ;) But iam german, we are keep things clean, correct and well-ordered :D this is how we roll ;)

REALLY GREAT Skins..

is it possible for you to release the 3 .dds of the fuel tanks without the emergency freq paint on it ?

Not all birds fly or used to fly with it, and I would love to have a all grey standard fuel tank.

Hi FZG_Immel,

Thank you!

Yes it's possible, we could integrate in the V3 pack the external fuel tanks without or with emergency frequency. Randomly, as we did for the pilots' patches of the 11th, 17th or 18th squadron.

That would be lovely.

I don't dislike the emergency freq tanks, but i am used to see them with blank tanks. that would be really nice option to have

Never saw the 5017 with this new tail. How old is it ? Then again I'm not working in Payerne for a few years

In the meantime and before you publish v3, could you provide the 3 fuel tanks .dds so that I can at least use them on the existing Swiss skin ?

I suppose you have the .psd file and it's only a matter of hiding one layer to obtain them

Patience :) v3 is released this evening.

The new J-5017 will be available (with other changes) in v4.

Thanks a lot ! Did you include the blank fuel tanks ?

Can I replace it everywhere to have all airplanes fly with the blank fuel tanks ?

Sure you can replace it for yourself :) but be aware that with the next update it will be randomly again :D

Thing is they often fly with the centerline tank with the freq but rarely do it on the wingbags. Shame we cannot determine this

Guys, I love your skins. i have installed them all and really think they are great.

But as with the generic swiss skin in DCS, I believe they are too weathered. it's been a few years that I left Payerne and the Swiss Air force, but even 5 years ago I remember our hornet to be crazy well maintened and cleaned, and to show very little weathering.

So I used your skin as a basis (mainly to get the roundels tailnumber, and interception light), and played with the standard PSD layers and gimp to obtain a result more in line with my memory.

Here is what I obtained. (when I took these screens I forgot to turn the vertical stab inner side darker. its now done too)

DCS%202018-07-08%2000-55-22-00_zps9necncb2.png~original

for comparison, this is your actual level of weathering

again things may have changed in a few years, but its more in line with what I remember.

for information, I mainly changed the DIRT, SHABBY and DETAIL layers opacity.

respectively :

DIRT = 35

SHABBY = 50

DETAIL = 50

as reference :

Of course, it would look better on your own PSD file because I have noticed you have added many details that are swiss specific and that are not present in the normal template. Would be great if you try to tune it a bit for V4
