sniperpr1
Hi, How do I set up DCS so I can use my three monitors (they are already set-up in Windows) Thanks
cichlidfan
From the DCS User Manual: MONITORS. The game allows you to output video to multiple monitors. Four default configurations are provided automatically: 1 Screen. All video will be displayed on a single monitor (default). 3 Screen. Video will be split equally over three monitors. Camera + RMFCD. Video will be split between 2 monitors - one for the main camera and one for the right MFCD. MFCD. Video will be split between 3 monitors - one for the main camera, one for the left MFCD and one for the right MFCD. You can use the 1 screen option, or the 3 screen option, and change your resolution to match the total of the three monitors. It is worth noting that the 3 screen option will greatly reduce performance and really only looks correct if your monitors form a box, with 90 degree corners, around you. Demon_
I use NVIDIA control panel/Configure Surround and the "1 screen" option in the game settings. You need Hulk :shocking: to use the "3 screen" option. Attache ta tuque avec d'la broche.
cichlidfan
You need Hulk :shocking: to use the "3 screen" option. Not quite true, you just need a CRAY for CPU and a BTC mining farm for video. :P ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Firebreak
3 Screens I have a Nvidia 1070 SC and it runs 3 screens just fine. Problem is, using the 1 screen option, @ 5760x1080, I can't get the view in the cockpit far enough back to view all the dash panel. With the 3 screen option if I move the cockpit view back where I can see the dash correctly I see the wings pointing forward in about a 45 degree angle, and my seat back in each side monitor. sniperpr1
Well, after some tinkering I finally set it up for 3 monitors, well, I must say that my 6-year-old rig was more than up for the challenge it runs as smooth as water... Excellent resolution, FacetrackNoIR, all the bells and whistles... Awe-Frigging-Some. As Lord Vader would say... "Most Impressive"
