Track IR External views

I'm really enjoying the track ir external views, I knows its not favoured by all so it is a good idea to have it as an option in the settings tab, I think it adds a sense of natural movement when viewing aircraft in external views. I think it is working in virtually all modules now bar the Blackshark 2. Does anybody know of a way to get it working for this or is it a case of waiting for it to be updated?

I think the effect is cool. It's not an orbit like CoD was which was awkward.

If you want to disable it that's easy. Just take off your cap (or in the menu)

One can also simply pause it. I have both the track ir center and pause assigned to couple of my joystick buttons, when in exterior view if I want a fixed point - like in the fly by view, I just quickly pause the TIR. When back in cockpit I unpause it.

TrackIR pause should still work too.

What I love most about these new view is the fact that I actually feel that I am standing next to a plane when using F2, and I mean from an eye-height level point of view. It really feels up-close and personal, unlike the old F2 view. Very happy with it! Makes for wonderful screenshots, too.

Oh, and as westr said, it's rather natural; as an example, while in F2 mode, looking at my own plane, thanks to the TrackIR movements I can now turn around, watching other planes as they fly by. This adds a lot to the immersion. So, once again, thanks ED! :)
