Harlikwin
Is there a way to have nadir tell you bearing and RANGE to way point. For example I want to setup a waypoint to a target, but I want to stop 4km from it so I don't get killed. I know you can setup bearing and TIME, but this seems rather less useful. swatstar98
On the compass, the arrow indicates direction and on top right distance in KMs (in this image the aircraft is off so they are labeled.) Chinook lover - Rober -

xvii-Dietrich
Here's a labelled version, in case it helps. (click to enlarge image) Another thing I do is plan a waypoint with the F10 range tool which I know is 4km from the target area. That way I can plan ahead for good terrain/cover from where I can launch the attack.
Harlikwin
Yup I use the F10 map for that as well. Or target coordinates if I have them for the final attack, I then stop at some distance from the WP and scan for the target. Also do you know if there is a way to make current aircraft position a waypoint? I.e. starting airfield. it would be useful flying online. swatstar98
P.P. Mode is for your current position, so before leaving make sure to make a WP with those coordinates or having them write down. Chinook lover - Rober -
