that looks like a MiG....not a F-86....but what do I know, I'm no aerospace engineer...

...edit...we were all just kidding too...love the F-86, the release of a AI MiG-15 with it will be the pinnacle of gunfighting in DCS....6 nose mounted .50s...stop it....stuff of legends....

if my consumer spidy senses are correct......only a matter of time before our eastern brethren get a clickable mig-15 to combat my mad guns only skill....may god have mercy on us all...

Not bad one with the under-carrier deployed (Landing / Take Off configuration) and some weapon / drop tank ;)

Edit: By the wikipedia I found the Mig-15Bis external warload:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikoyan-Gurevich_MiG-15

2x 100 kg (220 lb) bombs, drop tanks, or unguided rockets on 2 underwing hardpoints

I think the bomb has FAB-100 (early version)

Drop tanks:

But, I can´t found the Mig-15Bis rocket pod except by ebay ??? SR-55 rocket pod ???

So when can I buy the MiG-15? The Sabre is a beauty and a legend for the Americans, but it's never really done anything for me. The MiG was so simple, but deadly effective - and had a partly British engine too IIRC Churchill gave a couple to the Soviets at the end of '45?

The Brit's may have given the engine, but the Germans provided the A/C basis:

ED is slowly covering all eras of military aviation with at least two antagonist aircraft - doing the MiG-15bis would be a nice thing to do.

Next, Vietnam! MiG-21 is coming, so where is the Thunderchief, Phantom (hmm dual seat, no-no) or Tiger...

(Particularly, I would love to have a SEPECAT Jaguar, always been fond of the aircraft... but that's another topic)

Downloaded 1.2.9.

The mig 15 looks awesome.

I am a armour guy. But looking at the Sabre and mig 15 dogfighting was Amazing.

If the mig15 is ever released as a module I will certainly purchase it.

Kudos to all involved in the development of both models,

Mig ally here I come.
