FC2 SU-25T CCIP vs. CCRP

Recommended Posts

Am not an air-to-ground specialist in FC2, but as far as I know CCRP mode needs an air-to-ground radar lock to be able to release the bombs at high altitudes without having visual on the target through the HUD. Am not sure if the Shkval system can do this, might be wrong. I know from my short Su-25T experience that you have to keep the target within the Shkval boundaries therefore diving slightly. DTOS mode might be missing in FC2 as well.

What Flankerator said is truth but I add more.

  1. Select target by Shkval which accepts bombs as gifts :D
  2. You locked it. Prepare bombs.
  3. Closing to target turn on laser. Turn on it when you are ie. 3-4 km on low alt, and futher on high.
  4. Press release bomb trigger and keep it pressed till system drops it - 10 seconds before drop on HUD will be shown timer scale from 10-0 seconds.
  5. Be aware when you're keeping pressed release button you can't let to have situation where your WCS allows you to drop bombs (don't let to show CCIP marker!), otherwise you'll drop bombs before :P
  6. CEP error for example MER*4*FAB-100 is at least 5 meters so it can't be used for killing tank, cause most probably it will miss it.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D
