rainman1810
@rainman1810 I have tested it and found no issues with the form. Can you explain exactly what error you get? Thanks. Dear Dutch, I tried again and encountered another problem and still can't make it. The narrative is just followed: I registered the user name and my email address, then I got the mail received from TAWDCS, but couldn't get my password set,I got two mails listed below but both eventually couldn't set my passphrase. [TAWDCS] Your username and password info [TAWDCS] Password Reset Above two lines were the mail titles listed in my mailbox. I tried many times and it seemed an error loop...

Stuge
I noticed you guys increased flankers' fuel load from previous setup now flankers have ~5 tons of fuel which I consider too heavy for dogfighting... i think it's good to keep in mind that especially with the new fuel settings the m2000c completely outperforms Su-27 in all flight performance aspects both turn and kinematic, this also has to do with the M2000C being in an extremely light setup, and perhaps fuel consumption not being reflected by airspeed but by altitude only (according to the info i have)... a friendly suggestion would be to make the flankers just a wee bit lighter just to give them a chance in this match-up :) Edited October 12, 2017 by Stuge http://www.104thphoenix.com
Dutch Baron
Hi Stuge, Thanks for the tip. We will look into it, but we do need to try and make the playing field as fair as possible. With the 5 min burn time I think we have a pretty fair setup and I'd hate to see a 27/33 be out of fuel faster if for instance, a M2K and 27/33 have been fighting both in full burn for 5 minutes. I see your point, we need to discuss and see if we come up with a fair solution. Thanks again Stuge! http://www.TAWDCS.org ### JOINT TASK FORCE JTF-88 ### https://tawdcs.org/battalion/88th/ ### PC: i9 - 32Gb RAM - GTX 1080Ti - TM Warthog Stick and Throttle - MFG Crosswind Black - TrackIR5 - Buddy Fox UFC
Stuge
I'd hate to see a 27/33 be out of fuel faster I'm just afraid they'll run out of structural integrity faster than fuel... one elegant solution that comes to mind would be to reduce all aircrafts' burn time to 4 min! Also parameters for burn time that I used before was max performance sustained turn at sea level (0-1000ft altitude), so if you're using different parameters u might have different fuel levels too.. FLANKERATOR
Dumping fuel is allowed so you can dump as much as needed prior to the merge. It's up to the pilot to fine tune fuel load. 5mn burn time for all is a fair approach imo. If you want less fuel, dump it :) Situational Awareness: https://sa-sim.com/ | The Air Combat Dojo: https://discord.gg/Rz77eFj

Dutch Baron
Hello everyone, I would like to thank all you guys for the massive interest in this event. We are closing the registration for the event as of right now. The players will be put in brackets and assigned matches in the coming week. Once we have a final setup we will of course share this with you all. We will also share the mission in a few days from now. We will most likely share a modified version of last year, but the actual mission we use during the event, requires some special scripts and server setup to make it work, hence we are sharing a simplified version. Again thanks to all guys working hard behind the scenes to make this event happen! http://www.TAWDCS.org ### JOINT TASK FORCE JTF-88 ### https://tawdcs.org/battalion/88th/ ### PC: i9 - 32Gb RAM - GTX 1080Ti - TM Warthog Stick and Throttle - MFG Crosswind Black - TrackIR5 - Buddy Fox UFC

FLANKERATOR
1v1 Brackets are out: http://sa-sim.com/top-gun-2017-official-brackets/ Player seeding is based on our A2A Pilot Career High Ranking available at: http://sa-sim.com/dcs-a2a-top-scorers-ever/ We had a maximum of 32 available slots so if you signed up but didn't make it to the brackets, please turn up on D-day for a chance to replace someone who wouldn't show up. TAW crew will come up with an order of play asap but please join TS way before your match time if possible to check in and get ready as all 32 matches will go back to back on several servers so multiple matches play at once. Please check your connection and read the rules carefully especially ROE - a referee will be there to coordinate all. 2v2 brackets will be published asap. Have fun and fight hard. May the best pilot win! S! Situational Awareness: https://sa-sim.com/ | The Air Combat Dojo: https://discord.gg/Rz77eFj
