Hmm, let me see. Since A-10C came out I've purchased the following for it;

i7-2600k - $330

Asus P8P67 Pro - $180

Hyper 212+ - $30

16GB RAM - $185

GTX 460 1GB - $200

27" Asus Monitor - $320

Intel 40GB SSD - $120 (sold)

OCZ 60GB SSD - $119

TOTAL - $1484.00.

I'm not done yet either. Plan on doing multi-monitor soon. So will need new video card and two more monitors. Probably another $800.00.

Well worth it.

Buy a trackir and save yourself about $700.

What did it cost me?

$1500 for new PC

$200 for new vid card and PSU (because I got screwed on the stock one)

$60 for the sim

$65 for TIR 4 (used on ebay)

$85 for rudder pedals (used on ebay)

Total so far: $1910 US (not counting the $500 + shipping I'm about to spend on the TM Warthog)

It's not the fall that gets you. It's the Godawful sudden stop at the end.
