philstyle
Hi Nineline/ mods, I cannot find a specific place to report this, so I'm posting here for you to move. I have been playing the Big Show Campaing, but DCS has come unstuck for me at mission 3. The FPS tanks severely when thre are large numbers of aircraft in the sky (60+), but strangely no-one else/ few people report this also. My specs: i5 6600k (with mild OC) GTX 1080Ti 16GB RAM DDR3 Both DCS and Windows on SSD I have run the mission in 1440p AND in 1080 now, both resolutions give the same FPS loss. Wierdly, pausing the mission or opening the options menu restors the FPS, the loss only occurs when the mission is "running". . . I made a video of the problem here. This is shot in 1080p, but it rendered in 1440, so excuse the ugly black border. Also, this is unlisted, for the sake of proving this to ED. I will delete the video once I know someone from ED has seen it. tintifaxl
Are you sure it's not rather happening when the bombers dropping their eggs? I experience huge fps loss then. It's definitely not related to bomb drop, we are still 20 km from the target athte point it happens On YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/philstylenz Storm of War WW2 server website: https://stormofwar.net/

ED Team NineLine Posted June 9, 2019 ED Team Share Posted June 9, 2019 Have you tried upgrading your drivers? They are a little old, Bunyap and I have both been trying to reproduce the issues, bot in 2D and VR, with no luck.
