Sorry if this has been asked already in the previous 63 pages, but is there a way to reduce the font size used in the Dynamic Mission Briefing as at the moment, it overlaps the edge of the screen?

What is the best way of contacting the dev on this, here or on his site?

They are accessed in VR in the same way as on monitor.  Whatever you have bound it to in controls.  I have mine bound to HOTAS buttons.

So, I'm guessing the dev isn't responding anywhere, well not here or on his site at least.  Has he gone to ground?

Hello

i use this great apps for a long time, but i have 2 questions:

-is there a way (with the profile editor maybe?) to place the kneeboard "outside the screen limitations" for VR. 90° on the right for example.

-Dynamics Kneeboards are available?

thanks

nb: i hope the dev is ok 🙏

Not as far that i know. But VRK is better for VR users.

SYSTEM: Mainboard MSI MEG X570 | CPU Ryzen 7 5800X @ 4.5 GHz | RAM 64 GB @ 3200 MHz | GPU GIGABYTE RTX 4090 | 1 TB SSD | Win 10 x64

DEVICES: ASUS 27" LCD | TrackIR 5 | LukeClip | Quest 3 | PointCTRL | Virpil HOTAS | MFG Crosswind | TableMount MonsterTech

MODULES: To much to list. But I stopped buying more, because of too much bugs in e.g. A-10C(II). @ED: Fix the bugs and I spend money on modules again. Promised.

If you use the default profile, the KB is positioned as for all DCS users.

Now, if you open the KB and the point and <Left-Click-Hold> on the upper left hand corner of the KB window, you can drag it to wherever you wish. However, if you start to drag it to the right, you will notice that the right hand side of the KB window starts to disappear; the further you move to the right, the more disappears. Drag it back to its original position to view the entire KB window again. That is the limitation of the KB in DCS. The same thing happens to the left, top and bottom.

DCS seems to have a pseudo-window defined, within which overlays may be viewed -- the KB is an overlay, just like the chat window, the SRS window, and various other mods with display windows. I have yet to see anyone modify the size and/or position of the pseudo-window.

Is there a way to remove all the default airfields from the kneeboard. Thanks for the info.

Only two maps have that type of Diagram, they are at:

/Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Mods/terrain/Caucasus/Kneeboard/

/Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Mods/terrain/Nevada/Kneeboard/

Delete their contents and they will not be shown on your Kneeboard.

It would be good if he told us one way or another with a post here or something on his web site.

Thanks for the heads up, but the latest version on the website 1.8.0.6 does not work for me:

I had the same error... deleted the Custom KNEEBOARD Profile for setting the default position of the KB per AC.  Let the dev know, but have not heard back yet.

Well, as you can see from posts above on this page, it looks like the dev has abandoned this project, sadly.

I hope not, his tool is still one of the most useful DCS utilities, I use it a lot whenever I get a new aircraft. KB is smart enough to recognize new aircrafts without needing an update, even User Modded aircrafts:

CAXJdLp.jpg

I used to have trouble with its moving and resize feature, but fortunately DCS has now that abilities in native form, so I mostly use it to manage the kneeboard contents:

So, all in all, I'm really thankful to @AlaskanGrizzly for creating this tool and share it freely with the DCS community 🙏

Yeah me too, I love this program for managing my Kneeboard pages.

Great benefit for me as I continue my learning in the Hornet. I load up reference pages for the weapons I will be using prior to each campaign mission I will be flying. Very helpful.

As long as the program continues to work for me with DCS and VR, I will continue to use it.

Agreed. The program still works fine for creating and managing kneeboard pages.  It's only the features related to changing the display of the kneeboard that seems to be causing people trouble. That's no surprise since ED changed the way the kneeboard works.
