Crash to desktop only in MP

The server rejected your client right before the crash. It said you weren't using pure textures. If your stable is not modded, it means the game files are broken.

Unbelievable, does it change something if I say that I wasnt even flying just watching other player flying with f2 view?

They do. A friend of mine can play MP with his 8 GB PC, no problem.

Has the support asked you to test your memory? Windows has a diagnosis tool for this (just press Windows key and type 'memory'). It requires a reboot, and it takes some time to execute (but you can cancel it anytime if need be).

Retested now, Everything closed beside dcs: ram usage is up to 90% with DCS picking from 9 to 11 Gb of it for the first 10ish minutes then it drop to 4 to 6 Gb lowering the usage to 70ish %, then the crash occurred.

Not to mention I am running a set of high medium and low settings.

Ok. Well I really don't know where to look at, after all the things that you've tested already.

You seem to have the same issues that other guys I tried to help some weeks ago. Maybe you guys should try and find a commonality in your PCs.

 

Oh wait, have you already tried to rename your \Saved Games\DCS folder? The game creates a new one but you can revert anytime you want, as long as you keep the renamed folder as a backup. This is a fast test and it has 'saved' many users.

I don't want to call it but this MAY have fixed the issue meaning that ram usage is not spiking over 90% but what I am seeing is that my gpu is now being utilised about 70ish% where before was 95ish% with the graphics settings

Edit: I actually turn off SSAA so that might be the lower usage of the gpu

Would you mind take a look at these directories?

 

\DCS World\Bazar\shaders\ParticleSystem2

\DCS World\Bazar\shaders\enlight

 

Here are mine:

If you see some files missing, you should remove the entire 'shaders' folder then try a repair again.

If you have not already try the advice in my signature, ensure windows and display drivers are up to date.

 

Also check your pagefile is set high enough.

I attached them so many time I don't think there is anymore benefit from keeping attaching them. I already check both windows and nvidia and they're up to date; page file is set at 16,000.

Also I still have an open ticket but still working on to the issue.

We narrow down the issue to the textures: I can have everything maxed out but the texture on high are causing the VRam to be spiced at high value which makes the game crash; now I don't get how changing the texture from high to low as a 5-10% only performance impact on the vram, on medium in the game is mostly stable but still have some crash.

And, by the way, I have 8 Gb of Vram, how do people play with 2 at low if at low mine still uses 95% out of 8?
