Callsign
Why was 2.5.6.50321 removed from the update servers? It was the latest pre-encryption version, still used by a large quantity of people. So why?
launchedsquid
Maybe ED wanted people to use the encrypted version, they went to the trouble of encrypting their files after all.
Eldur
I guess they simply removed some older versions, I've tried patching back to pre-Tomcat 2-3 months for performance reasons after release and had to discover the same issue. The ones that are on Stable as well are up for longer.
kengou
Why was 2.5.6.50321 removed from the update servers? It was the latest pre-encryption version, still used by a large quantity of people. So why? Think you answered your own question there. Why would they go to the trouble of encrypting everything if they didn't care if people kept old versions with unencrypted files?
