TMWH TDC slew too slow

Recommended Posts

I have my X and Y set as 30/100/30/0 top to bottom per A-10s stock TDC. I find this to be particularly slow for changing settings on the radar screen as per the new 0.8 sec touch around the peripheral settings like azimuth, range, SIL, etc...

Can anyone recommend something faster yet retains precision when inside the radar zone? Settings wise?

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

You can change the speed of the tdc in one of the mfcd pages. Can’t remember which as it’s been a good while since I flew it. Check the manual.

Since the update I can't bind TDC to an axis...is it just me?

Works fine here. Note: there are TDC Slew bindings for the Mouse. Don't try to use those!

For the ministicks and "nipples" etc., use the commands "Throttle Designator Controller..."

I have set (for the TDC on my TM WH Throttle):

Deadzone = 15

Saturation Y = 100

Saturation X = 50

Curvature = 0

Seems a good compromise between speed and precision.

I'll average responses and set accordingly, thanks.
