-Mop-
I use a g940... when trying to take off... i set the parking brake by pulling its lever and pushing the footbrake forward and back... to loosen the parking brake i only would have to push the footbrake forward, the parkingbrake-lever should snap back... and thats it, right? But it doesn´t most of the time :joystick:... so what am i doing wrong? please help
Anatoli-Kagari9
I have the same problem. usually asymmetric brake (just left or right brake) solces the problem... Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
nuNce
I would like to know what I do wrong too, just to understand if it is a bug or there is a proper way to release it.
Anatoli-Kagari9
I wouldn't call it a bug, although sometimes I too have difficulty in releasing the parking brake. As I wrote on my previous post most of the time it works by using only one of the rudder brakes (left or right), instead of both. Might have to do with the calibration too (?) wolle
I found that depressing the rudder pedals VERY slowly allows me to reliably loosen the parking break. Anatoli-Kagari9
Yep ! just a light, fast touch of left / right brake, with throttle at low settings... but if you do that, the plane will immediately pitch to one side if you have a certain amount of throttle in case of preparing for take off, right?
