Things are Pretty Quiet

..because we're all crunching rather hard getting everything ready, especially with Duxford right around the corner.

Stay tuned guys; good stuff is coming. :)

Quick tidbit of info would be that we have revised our plans and the aircraft will ship with a comprehensive campaign on launch.

Thanks for the info, but gotta ask if this added content will have an impact on the release date in any way?

Ah sweet! I saw people say a campaign isnt important but i completely dissagree , shipping a game without campaign is shipping an unfinished game. Love it.

Thank u. Don't understand why the plans are revised... Before was not a campaign planed?

The campaign was to be added at a later date , not on release.

Yeah, there's easily another couple of months work that needs to happen before we can start discussing revised release dates.

Correct -- do not expect a release this month (as noted).

"A Couple Months" is a little of an exaggeration however.

We'll let you know as soon as we are confident of a new date. We'd rather have an accurate one rather than disappoint again.

Hmmmmm one more week before the 2 month mark....just saying :music_whistling:

I would say end of June is early enough to start asking again.

Umm, ...

Release of the module is scheduled for May/June. You can find more info about that on their official website : http://www.leatherneck-sim.com/

Sincerely, Quent.

I will be very surprised if they release this thing this year. After loads of delays, troubles of any kind, and even removing one of the most important guy from the team, I’m ready for anything. Even the license problems with MiG design bureau or some other legal stuff.

One would think, that this project was initially planned to be released in 2012…

Well, the question is do it right or do it quick? I prefer right... Every new DCS level module WILL take time, that should be obvious by now. Even then we need some Beta and Updates to fine tune and eliminate some bugs, so before rushing out something just for the sake of releasing "on time"... that is something EA or other majors are famous for, we know the results :D

Yep. Customers still buy, gripe and play through the issues, wait for the patch, after patching still complain...

Without a time machine, quick is not possible any longer. ;)
