Ok, next question: Can human-flown Hornets see SPI from human-flown Hogs?

This would be epic for CAS if you have a FAC(A) in an A-10

That is cool how the datalink system has come alive even when we don't know exact things. But that is how it is suppose to be, no need to know secret functions from IFF or datalinks, as long you know what it should just do.

Now waiting to see same for Su-27S datalink with same secret update this A-10C got!

I can’t post tech data due to rule 1.16 but I’m curious if ED plans to correct the symbology that is incorrect.

This isn’t strictly an A-10 TAD question but has anyone tried using an AI F-15/16 as a SA donor?

Is this even realistic? I thought the A-10C is using SADL to send/recieve SPIs and none of the other aircraft types supports SADL afaik?

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Shhh!

On a serious note though I'm just glad that the A-10C is getting some love.

AWACS is acting as a gateway (bridge) between SADL and Link-16 aircraft. Some F-16C are SADL capable but I'm not sure they have the tech to act as a gateway (network bridge).
