Habu_69
During busy AA engagement while in AA mode and AIM-9X selected I am hearing constant (warn system?) beep at about 2 hz. Switching to AIM-120 silences the beep. What is it trying to tell me?

Tholozor
It's basically the same thing as the Sidewinder's analog 'growl' you hear on the 9M and earlier, except the 9X is digital, so it makes a different sound.
