Vibora
Louisv: I told you in another post that there are several holes on that runway, that's why your gear collapses. Try to land in a runway where you didn't dig holes previously and everything will be fine. http://forum.lockon.ru/showpost.php?p=1608025&postcount=365 Roberto "Vibora" Seoane Alas Rojas [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Well, shouldn't the craters be visible as long as they are active...The runway is nice and clean although it has been bombed. They are visible, hence the necessity of doing a Run-and-Break landing, especially when you know the airfield has been bombed. Why are you even reporting this as a bug? Why are you even reporting this as a bug? Didn't see anything, did you ? I'll redo everything and check, but may be the bug is that I don't see the craters, are they visible on the track ? Or does everybody assume there are craters because the airport has been bombed ? louisv
OK, I finally saw the craters, but they flicker and vanish at certain angles, like when you land...By doing a pass before I saw them flickering strongly...that is the bug really. Thanks all for your patience, I have a flickering crater problem. I guess with upgrades of either DCS or NVIDIA, the problem will certainly disappear. Sorry for not getting the crater thing at first I thought people were making a joke since I never saw the craters in the first place. I'll update my NVIDIA driver now and check again. Thanks All, and happy holidays (without craters I hope). Lou MSI Z170A Titanium Edition mobo + 6700K CPU 32 GB G.Skill TridentZ memory 3200 MHz Sandisk Extreme Pro 256 GB SSD Samsung 950 Pro 512 GB M.2 SSD (3 GB/s) for DCS and +. Mustang
Yes this little tweak will fix nearly all terrain Z fighting problems, all I did was raise the LAND_DEPTHBIAS by a fraction so no flickering occurs - a good example are destroyed vehicles, you have probably noticed the blackened ground flickering when zooming in on them from a distance, this no longer happens.
