Coretex Designs finally talk!

Recommended Posts

It's kinda funny, one post he says it's the ED's fault, other post he says he had no time, and that's why they have put the development on hold.. hm...

I've put development on hold due to a job promotion requiring more of my free time. Hopefully in the upcoming weeks I can settle down, and find some more free time to work on DCS modules. -Chris Head

We all know they would never finish the F/A-18E..

Easy to say right now.

So ... many things wrong in that video..

But also a lot of things were done.

Look, I am not going to define the statement as 100% accurate, but I am not going to say that it is 100% inaccurate aswell. Obviously such a statement would damage ED's reputation, so we will never know the 100% truth.

A lot of 3rd parties (Unlicensed Included) had Forum Sections at first,

However, they've all been removed, and only Licensed Developers have Forum Sections.

There's no Need for a Statement, Someone Made a small one over a year ago when CTD Announced their development was on Hold.

There's Literally no point in CTD coming back now, and posting anything other than to get attention and deflect blame elsewhere.

I respect the decision of not making any statement... but don't agree... It would end the discussion once and for all...

BTW, you didn't answer my question about those links you posted earlier...

Are those from a new module or from an updated external model only?

It was easy to say two years ago, too, and I did.

  • ED Team
ED words against Coretex words. Most likely, we will never know exactly what happened.

Let's grab some beers to mourn Coretex, then think about something else.

What exactly happened was they never had a full license agreement, they had access to the SDK and ED developers but where never able to show enough progress to give ED any confidence in them being able to complete their project. ED decided at that point that signing an agreement with them wouldnt make sense, and that's the end of it.

If someone wants to develop any version of the Hornet, ED wouldnt have an issue with it, and personally I would buy both if they were available.
