The map is the Falklands, but technically it is UK, because you know.. colonization for the Queen!

I wonder why they chose Falklands?

There was only one war and that too it was with Sea harriers against some Argentinean, Mirage 5 and A-4 Skyhawks.

I wonder why they chose Falklands?

Because it is a cool scenario and they like to do it... And a lot of people agree with that choice.

Plus for a first map project a smaller footprint with two sparsely populated islands are a very thoughtful and reasonable choice.

With only 4 operational aircraft and 5 missiles they played a relatively minor role, although they had a big effect on the UK's tactics. Only 3 missions were flown and one of those was abandoned due to IFR issues.

SuE did sink Sheffield and Atlantic Conveyor but the Mirages (including Dagger/Nesher) and Skyhawks sank Coventry, Ardent, Antelope, and Sir Galahad and hit many others (bombs often failing to detonate).

Don't get me wrong, I would love a flyable SuE or SuEM but I'd rather see the Mirage variants or Skyhawks first. San Carlos Water would be a tense experience in VR....

Ok final surprise from Razbam is that the full fidelity LHA-1 will be available for everyone. Images below taken from their Facebook page so suffers from Facebook image filters. If anyone from Razbam has the originals they will look better.

May be replace the SuE with AJS-37?
