joystick calibration tn game

I have a problem with the A-10a starting with ailerons in a right turn position. I made a mission using the Su25T unguided bombs practice and substituted the A-10a. Screenshots shown are right after hitting fly button. Trim does nothing. As you can see, the stick is centered in Windows, but not in game axis tune. Is there a way to calibrate in game.

You have also assigned the USB gaming keyboard to the Roll axis. Clear that and try again.

No problems with Su-25T?

The Su-25T works fine when substituted in place of the A-10a. I cleared all assignments in the USB gaming keyboard and there is no difference. I tried the stock missions for the 10a.They are all air start, but I still get severe roll to the right as soon as I hit the fly button.

I own the A-10T, but I don't have it installed at this time. I would like to swap it into my mission or put the !0a into a 10T mission out of curiosity.

Thanks for help, it has me stumped:huh:

I tried swapping the joystick to a USB on the mother board but that made no difference. I tried disabling, then re enabling FFB, but that also made no difference, DCS repair did nothing. No mods enabled.:helpsmilie:

It's very strange that your device gives some right x axis input in one module and not in the others. I suspect some DCS bug. From time to time there are some strange things going on like bad default profile:

or binding quirks:

Do you run some additional drivers or profiles for the stick?

I had no problem flying your attached mission but it resulted in some serious fratricide :)

:lol:I had remade the mission to see if anything would change and posted it before I changed the targets to Red. No other drivers or software for the MSFFB2.

I think I will make a mission from scratch instead of substituting into a stock mission to see if that does some good.

more weirdness

I put the A-10a into a mission for the F-15 and added some Red ground targets. This is a cold start mission. When I hit fly, my FFB stick immediately jumped to the right. External view shows everything normal. Using the quick start cheats, as soon as I started the right engine, the ailerons moved to the right roll position I have been experiencing. I tried the original mission with the F-15 and none of this craziness occured.

I must have gotten a hand-me-down Hog. If you get me a new one, I promise to take care of it:joystick:

What is the difference between the install/ uninstall button and the trash can in the module manager? I would like to try a fresh install of FC3 to see if that resolves my issues. I assume the trash can is what I need, requiring a fresh download of the module.

I just tested after I reinstalled the FC3 module and the problem persists. This makes holding the piper steady difficult because I'm having to fight the FFB. It's doable, but difficult.

If anyone else has any ideas I'm open to trying anything.

Already tried DCS clean?

Also try renaming \saved games\dcs to different name to create new clean game profile. If it doesn't help go back to the old name.

But why other aircraft are ok? Look at control settings for other aircraft. Look at the axis settings and force feedback. Try force feedback tune options. Swap axis maybe?
