finch
Since the release of the M-2000C on Steam, all NEW modules released on Steam no longer use SF, they use the Steam protection system. didn't know this... but if I bought modules from ED store can I use them on steam or not? answer is no.. i suppose https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=187387 Edited September 1, 2017 by finch
cichlidfan
hmmm!! interesting, Wonder if both Standalone & Steam now get updates and early access modules at the same time now? if so that might be the winning factor to jump back to steam and get rid of starforce and the limited activation keys, once and for all :D, wouldn't mind having to re-purchase some of the modules again either, As Wags said, above, this change only affects NEW Steam releases (currently just M2000 and Nevada, I think), while all older modules still use StarForce. philstyle
That patch comes that improves frames in VR for Normandy and adds the Harrier ;) That would be very nice - thank you.. Cheers James That would mean two patches in two weeks. The likelihood of this is somewhere between very low and kein chance männer. QuiGon
A patch a week was pretty normal a few months ago. Texac
Seriously tho, harrier has to be close... I'm getting a hard on? First of all an announcement would be made that the harrier is going to be available for pre-pruchase on day XY. That pre-purchase phase might take a few weeks and then it will be released and come along an update on day XY as this has been multiple times the case for module releases now. - My Skins/Liveries - Improved F-16C Texture Template • Texac on YouTube •

drPhibes
First of all an announcement would be made that the harrier is going to be available for pre-pruchase on day XY. Not necessarily. Whether or not there is a pre-purchase period is up to the developers. The Polychop Gazelle was released the same day they started selling it.
