Switching to 1440p Performance? - 9600K | RTX 2060

Recommended Posts

I've been playing DCS for almost 6 years now and am thinking about upgrading my monitor to 1440p. My current build has been fantastic for 1080p at almost max settings (view distance down a bit) and 4x MSAA I can get 60-100 fps in every module I own outside of the F-14 that can hold a solid 60 fps most of the time.

Does anyone have a similar setup and can talk about their performance? I'm okay with DCS at 60fps even with some stuff turned down, but if DCS will need to go to low-med settings for 1440p then it's not worth the upgrade in my opinion. Thanks for your input!

My rig in sig holds 60 fps locked large server

Max settings, Msaa x2, view ultra.

So its around the 2070 superish. You will need to bring some settings down.
