SGT Coyle
Ok so this is wierd. I'm running a Win10 sys, just recently updated All my drivers, BIOS, and got current on all my windows updates. I wasn't to far out of current. Been getting a lot of USB connects/disconnects. Changed power settings so windows won't shut usb devices down when idle. Thought I had this BS whipped. Things are running good. Right? Playing around with the Viggen. Just using the WH, checking out some tuts... WTF? Got a USB disconnect/connect notification for TrackIR! I don't even have it pluged in. So tell me what that's all about. Night Ops in the Harrier IYAOYAS
BitMaster
Usbdeview is a good tool. Install and delete all those obsolete usb entries, that might help. What chipset(s) are you running on ? Win-raid.com has the newest usb drivers for asmedia, intel etc. Worth a look and reading the forum Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Asus 1080ti EK-waterblock - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus PG278Q 27" QHD Gsync 144Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X
Chic
I found that just modifying POWER OPTIONS didn't solve this. The following seems to be working for me, at least for the past few weeks. DEVICE MANAGER => Universal Serial Bus controllers => Generic USB Hubs & USB Root Hubs => Properties => Power Management tab => "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power". I also found that if, for whatever reason, Oculus Runtime is running in the background Track IR will go out frequently. Edit: Just checked out Usbdeview. Nifty, thanks BitMaster.
