Funny thing is that if the small update from ED did NOTHING. Say it was just a harmless empty file and ED had a changelog that said this small update increased performance, loading times, stutters and improved graphics many would rave about their better performance. Some would say theirs was worse and many would hate the new graphics changes. New problems and also miracle fixes would be popping up all over the forums.

BTW- My Harrier vapor issue is still there but it comes and goes according to a flip of the coin. Been doing this since the last big update.

Again read above.

The LERX vapour issue is still there for me. AFAIK nothing has changed in the Open Beta with the update.

No core changes were made, yet somehow after that little patch the MiG-21's damage model is functional again... I'm not complaining :-)

Regarding the damage modeling, we suspect the same issue is going on as in the Christen Eagle.

Today, I had a very little new update, 0.1MB. What does it fix ?

version OB 2.5.1.16978

Actually it was the same build version as before if you omit the last number.

2.5.1.16978.361 <- May 5th

2.5.1.16978.363 <- May 13th

Looks like it just has been recompiled two times without any actual changes which is just what the log tells us.

Updates to the updater. Preparing for the F-18 launch I would guess.

So, it looks like they tuned the Deferred Shading. Colors a bit different. They also fixed SOMETHING. I couldn't play AT ALL without it freezing the game solid. I've now flown several free flight a campaign missions and, knock on wood, it hasn't locked up yet. So it's more than just an "admin" change ;)

Loving it!
