9thHunt Posted August 6, 2020 Share Posted August 6, 2020 The easiest way is to make new shortcuts. Navigate to your DCS game folder, go to the folder marked Bin, and then find the executable called DCS_Updater. That is the executable that your desktop shortcut would have pointed to. Right click on that. Towards the top of the right click menu should be an option to "Pin to Start," that will put a shortcut on your start menu. To add a shortcut on your desktop, open the same menu, then find the "Send to" submenu. Inside that will be an option that says "Desktop (Create Shortcut)."
