5th crash log update,

 

Just flying it around in the anti ship mission had shot my 2 missiles at ship and was just cruising around enjoying the plane and bam CTD wasn't pressing mfd buttons or anything like that was just flying along coast.Not sure what else to say other than if i put my ground radar on my FPS goes from 120 to about 19 and very stutter'y but i think that has been reported already.

 

I posted earlier with other crash logs but kept going back and editing it when i crashed again but i don't think anyone looked at more than the first crash log because the other's didn't have any views so i posted new reply.

Played for hours this evening with no crashes. Pagefile trick seemed to sort it thank you Big Newy et al.

Thank you for your kind attention! I ran the openbeta repair program and it was all fixed! Evidently, when updating and installing new modules, conflicts are generated with the .lua files modified by mods or liveries previously installed. Performing a nice cleaning, everything returns to work great!! Moreover, I installed the mods and liveries again and everything works perfectly. Thanks again and ... congratulations for the beautiful JF-17 module. Now, I look forward to additional liveries such as the Iranian one (fictional).

It crashed my game 4 times today, it's about 20-30 mins after starting the session.

 

It didn't shows the typical "DCS has crashed" but instead it simply closes the game and CTD.

 

If someone tell me we're i can found useful Logs or crashes information, I Will have no problem on uploading it.

 

Liking really much the plane!

Another crash

 

Was just in a custom mission i made with mission editor where i engage a F5 in BVR. Had locked F5 and was waiting for it to get within range and Crash. Hope this helps,

Same here. Basically every flight crashes after a while (Multiplayer).

Multiple hours in other modules without crash.

 

Last line in dcs file:

2019-12-07 22:08:43.368 ERROR EFFECTS: ODCSParticleSystem: trying to set parameter for emitter that doesn't exists in shellExplosion.lua

 

Thought idk if this has something to do with the crash. Just the time fitting.

More crashing today - it certainly seems connected with having run the mission editor somehow. This crash occurred after I had been in the editor to update my general trying-things-out mission and left DCS alone for a while to update some info in the DCS wiki I maintain. When I came back, I started the mission by going to the mission screen from the main menu (without having closed DCS since the editing session) and it hung on the first frame, and CTDed a couple of seconds later.

 

 

Restarting DCS and loading the mission again caused no issues.

Quoting myself to add an updated observation I made today.

 

The post-editor crashes I kept having seem to be connected to the initial mission setup step — perhaps there's just too much for the game to do on that first frame.

 

If I change the aircraft to “Client” difficulty rather than “Player” and let the mission run for a little while so all other units can get up and running, and then pick a that Jf-17 slot, the chances of a crash are massively reduced. I could go back and forth between the editor multiple times without issue, where before it would immediately drop to the desktop on first loading the mission.

My DCS just crashed while on JF-17 in MP (104th server). Already send the crashlog via DCS tool. I hope you guys could find something usefull to resolve this issue.

FLying was great in all other planes, but JF17 caused 3 different crashes in a row! joined alternate plane, all seems fine.

 

only could attach 2 logs, middle crash just dropped straight to desktop.

I was in the DL with every crash. I also had my comm 1 on the AWACS freq. The latest today came as soon as I blasted a shilka that was locking me off the world. at weapon impact got a crash to desktop, no log, no message.

I can't Win,

 

I was flying my own made mission from editor where myself and and Ai aircraft were taking on a Ai F5 enemy and i had locked it up and was using radio menu to get My Ai wingman to attack my target and it crashed.

First of all really great module. Really enjoying it.

 

I'm also facing crashes but never in middle of the game. the only time my game crashes is when we first load into the plane, as soon as I hit fly to take control of the jet, the game crashes.

 

In the start, if I was loading into the jet 20 times, the game would only crash 4-5 times.

 

Now it crashes every second time I load in.

I've been playing in the GS server and have been getting very consistent crashes during engagements. Those crashes tend to happen whenever I'm going evasive(put the enemy to my six o'clock) and the enemy starts shooting Fox3s. Those missiles are often shot from too far away as I'm going cold, but I'd still perform some slight turns to bleed those missiles energy just in case, as well as laughing while looking at the D/L page with all those[120] icons gathered by the RWR. And then, that's when my game crashes almost every time!

 

Sorry, I could only describe my experience at this time, as I wasn't aware of this thread nor do I ever report bugs. I will report back with logs the next time I crash again.
