DCS World 2.5.x Caucasus Terrain Textures

Hi Mustang

 

 

I think there is an issue with the airbases shelters in the new beta version of DCS.Textures are missing.

Pretty sure my mod doesn't affect aircraft shelters so this is strange, I'll go check.

edit: ok I see the problem now and it's fixed, updated link in first post (some texture file extensions had been changed in 2.5.4)

Ok, I've been using this mod for ages and never had an issue installing until today. I keep getting this notification during install with OVGME. Any ideas? Cheers

This is completely unrelated to the files modified in the package, no shaderfiles are edited so I have no clue why you're seeing this.

It will fail IC if you load the textures before entering a server (such as pre-loading a mission) or if the server disallows texture modifications.

Roger. It also crashes my DCS each time I load in to the server (this is prior to ever loading the textures), could be due to a server setting though.

Thank you for the update but I still find v1.18 to be the most convincing and visually pleasing to fly over. :thumbup:

Also I seem to be getting a shimmer from the field textures when flying over them on the latest version.

1.18 is still the best looking in my personal opinion:)

I already do a fresh install and apply your mod after that.

Completely stumped as to why you're seeing these anomalies, here's how the trees and hangars should look, the version in the first post was updated several days ago do you have that one?

Also you could try deleting the fxo and metashaders2 folders from your DCS Saved Games directory, maybe something left from an earlier version is clashing with the current one.

looks like a bad/broken DCS installation
