Amazing update!

I know you guys catch a lot on flak regarding the updates on the Mig21bis. But I gotta say...

The cockpit looks amazing and it really jumps to life in VR. Everything from the dials to the right amount of "lived in" feel and smudges on the canopy... combined with the new HUD glass just brings this bird to life. Probably my favourite VR cockpit (I own all the modules) and it got even better. Thanks :)

I also noticed when trying to lock up a slow flying target detection that I couldn't. I was confused at first but remembered that LST button allows slow target locking while display is unaffected. Previously slow targets were not displayed so good change!

Definitely can notice cockpit texture rework. Font on airspeed gauge has changed so that says it's not just a rendering/clarity change but actual content work.

Yup, I couldn't believe my eyes! It looks so good in VR! :-)

*edit*

Speaking of VR, is it possible to get a fix for the helmet visor please?

Thanks Rudel for all of your hard work on this. Greatly appreciated.

For me, its the cockpit or module with huge fps loss, in comparison with others modules. A lot of % in performance hit. Do you have this problem?

While everyone is learning F/A-18C I took MiG-21bis for a spin. It fits so well this map.

The MiG 21 ist getting much love at the moment.

HUD is now clear and the Windows are clean.

The MIG is now on top level again.

I like it very much. Thank you!

If they add the pilot body.. But after so many years is very unlikely to happen.

Well, it's probably on backburner for good reason. They're going back and looking at the -21's FM according to Rudel. That's a lot of work.

Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

Of course is best to fix the FM and the systems that aren't correctly simulated than add the pilot body. Hope they let the module in a good shape and can jump to another module at full time.

true, it is a real problem.

i followed a dirt dot a couple of minutes, thinking it is a distant plane ....

Just move the aircraft a bit. If the dot moves with the aircraft it's just dirt on the canopy, if it stays in place it's an aircraft. Simple.
