Stick Help

Hello all,

I'm having some issues with a warthog base and verpil stick. I've tried moving around USB ports, and I intend to pick up a powered port shortly but I'm wondering if there is another fix as this problem has came and went.

I'll be flying along and suddenly I have a bunch of button presses on my stick, only the stick, even if I'm not touching it. It is super annoying as it has even fired weapons when not intended. Anyone have any suggestions for fixes outside of a powered USB port? Like I said, I'm going to try that just not sure if it will fix the issue. Last time it got progressively worse until I went though a firmware update which was super painful and I don't remember how to do.
