Frozen ai 55%

VMFA-Blaze

Recommended Posts

I've spent several hours trying to fix this 55% freeze issue without any success..

I've spent hours reinstalling everything, which obviously didn't work...

I then tried to open up the saved games file, hoping to delete a game that I believe caused this problem..

I the next problem is that I tried to search for the file useing the windows search engine but got no results..I'm now quite puzzled if there is any files in the folder since I just reinstalled everything??

So since I can't actually searched for the folder where in DCS does this subframe file exist..

It's most likely an easy fix but its certainly eluding me at this time..

C:\Users\User Name\Saved Games\DCS is what I actually used to search for the file but it didn't work

Saved Games Folder

I'm really having a problem opening my saved games folder in windows !0...

I've been trying to actually enter the Persian Gulf map but its freezing at 55%''

I've been trying to bring up the saved games folder but after reading all of the tutorials on how to do this, I have"t been successful..

After hours upon hours of trying I'm at a stand still and was hoping that someone In the comity could help..

The community leader has been very gracious in his help but I'm still not able to resolve this problem..

Are there any thoughts regarding this problem, I really want to do this LOL

Hi Blaze

try this

Hit at the same time Win+R and copy-paste this:

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs

Enter - OK and you will see Log files in folder.

Hi, it is just a picture again of an icon.

try this, find your dcs.log

rename it to dcs.txt

then attach it should work

again you can find it in your logs folder

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs

if you can use this to find your dcs.openbeta folder

Hit at the same time Win+R and copy-paste this:

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\

then rename it to DCS.openbetabackup

then restart DCS and redo your settings and options, it should help fix it

if you still want to attach your log and it is easier use a cloud service like google drive or drop box and link it here

or

contact support directly

I don't use Win 10, but is it possible, that some ridiculously-overprotective settings of this MS abomination prevent him from from having full access to all folders in Users directory? Sounds unlikely, but described symptoms are even more puzzling.

I think that I've finally located the File.. I compressed it and it to my desk top

But I can't drag and drop it into this post..

Sorry for the rudimentary question but how can I get this file over to you ???

  • 4 weeks later...

Download problems

I have a guide in my signature for attaching logs

hope it helps

Well thanks for taking all of your valuable time in helping me ..

I took you're advice and contacted the help section in the DCS opening page..

They actually recommended that I should delete all of the files and do a complete fresh download.

Well after a lot of time I'm finally able to enjoy DCS again...

Problem solved

Thank You Big
