Fullscreen at different resolution than desktop

Hi,

i have two monitors. One runs at 4K and one at 1920x1080. I use DCS on monitor 1, but i cannot run the game on 4K (performance issues then), so i run it on 1920x1080. It usually started in a small window and when i unfocused with the mouse and then went back into DCS, it went into fullscreen, until 5 minutes ago. I wanted to start the game and all i saw was the black background with the DCS logo. Nothing happened. I had to shut down DCS via taskmanager. After i started it again, it went directly into fullscreen, but all the clickspots were misplaced (so i had to play around with the mouse to find the clickspot for the option menu or the exit button). I didnt change any settings. How is this possible? Can this be fixed? Really annoying. And how can i get it back to work again? At the moment, i can only really use DCS, when i turn off fullscreen mode, but then it stays in that little window.

In settings you say you have it set to 1 monitor 1920x1080 and you have a check box to enable full screen. When you see the DCS logo press ALT+ENTER this will toggle on/off full screen as well.
