When 2.5 came out I decided to remake it from scratch in order to clean it up. But I have come across a couple of issues in the process. Issue #1. ILS. Or rather, the lack of it. In 1.5 ILS worked just fine. I would practice ILS approaches at Senaki frequently. But in 2.5 ILS doesn't seem to be working. The weather is the same as it was in 1.5 so it should have the same active runway as before (the one equipped with ILS). Has anyone else noticed issues with ILS equipment in 2.5? Or do I have to set something up that's new that didn't have to be set up in the past? Issue #2. Radio Homing. I have 3 different locations to practice FM Radio Homing in the UH-1H. Each has their own zone and a different radio freq. All 3 are set up in a similar fashion. But yet only 1 of them works. That one is on 50.2 FM. I have tried a range of frequencies for the other two but nothing seems to work. Any thoughts on this one? RED Posted May 21, 2018 Share Posted May 21, 2018 #1 senaki might have 27 as the standard active runway. You need a good wind to change the active runway, ~4+ kn to the west. I don't really want to turn off all wind because I want students to learn to deal with wind for landing and bomb employment.
