Ice_Pick
Hello, I am getting into head tracking and want to start with freetrack. I bought a PS3 Eye but I had difficulty removing the IR filter and destroyed it:(. So I was wondering what inexpensive (<10) webcams have easy to remove IR filters? :helpsmilie: DCS A10C / DCS Black Shark /DCS F-14/Persian Gulf map/ Nevada/huey/gazelle/f18/f16/ajs37/harrier/A-4 16gb 2400 RAM / Ryzen 5 3600 / ROG Strix RX 570 /750W thermaltake PSU [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
propeler
Do not remove it at all. New PS3 Eye camera works well with 800nm IR LEDs. Simply adjust brightness/contrast and enjoy.

crash test pilot
I destroyed my first Eyetoy also. I took a cheat chinacam and screwed the lens array into the Eyetoy. For headtracking you dont need a perfectly clear and sharp picture, the cam just needs to localise the light points. I call it Frankencam now.
