Default More discussion on Tactical Aircraft Mobile Map Capability (TAMMAC).

This is an introduction to understanding the purpose of mobile maps. The figure below will illustrate some of the issues. I hope TAMMAC can appear in the F-18C. For example, TAWS, DMS and SA all require TAMMAC.
PS:All materials are non-confidential academic papers. This is not a manual for military purposes.

Is the TAMMAC included in the FA/C Lot 20?

Then it should be simulated eventually.

LOT20 is a purchase batch. The aircraft will be upgraded after the service, so there is JHMCS in the game. According to information, TAMMAC is far ahead of JHMCS and MIDS on the F-18C/D. Appear in the game, depending on the production team.

Well, was it in service mid 2000 in the Navy? otherwise it won't be.

This is the line the ED has taken.

Prior to TAMMAC, the Navy used the ASQ-196. Its function is very limited. At the same time, TAWS uses Digital Terrain Elevation Data (which is part of TAMMAC), so there is a problem with the TAWS response in the game. If the ED's F-18C is the so-called "new" LOT20 (without any upgrades), then there should be no JHMCS. After the TAMMAC upgrade, upgrade JHMCS.

Then we should be in luck! its probably lower down in the priorities due to the weapons, Pods, A2A radar and A2G radar not yet fully working or in place yet.

No, there is very little chance of TAMMAC appearing in the game.
