Replacing a 6 year old intel CPU with an AMD Ryzen it yielded 15% more performance, but when the GFX was changed it got me a whopping 68% difference.

attachment.php?attachmentid=163584&stc=1&d=1496498657

Note: the 1080Ti test was conducted with a DCS 2.1.0.6002 version (had sent off the older GFX before the switch), and that might explain why downtown was higher than Nellis (for reasons that escape me). SAince this version is more demanding I can only conclude that >70% performance difference would be a more realistic value.

great test

Awesome chart. My new system is similar to yours - save for the gfx card I think - and am curious what terrain map those numbers were acquired on? For me I easily get my highest frames in Nevada and a bit less on the Persian gulf map. I havent really done anything on the caucuses or ww2 map since hitting the power button a few days ago.

It's a trackfile made by MadMike with a link in post #217. Unfortunately the link does not work anymore.

It may well not be comparable anymore with all those updates across the spectrum, NV driver(s), Win10 updates/Builds, DCS's progress.

What matters is: Do you have FUN flying it ?

Likely this was Caucasus, the FREE map, so everyone can play it.

** looking at the screenshot again, might have been NTTR.

Testfiles should have Caucasus and a Su-25T, so it runs without any need for purchased modules. PG and F-14 would be useless for 50% of all players, estimated.

Thanks to the release of the new AMD drivers for graphic cards with RSR radeon Super resolution i just tested in dcs.

i had an average 66 fps with a 3700x at 4,2ghz and a 6700 on native resolution 3440x1440.

Now with an upscale from 2560x1080 to 3440x1440 i've got 100 fps and no problem with image quality. Nice!
