Release of Leavu and ERI v 2.1.

This thread contains information about the coming release

of Leavu and ERI v 2.1. The two mods are now bundled together.

What is ERI and Leavu?

To update from Leavu/Eri 2.0

- Follow the standard installation steps in the 2.1 documentation,

however skip the part with the dll files. (So only replace the client

and the export scripts)

If you get an error of MSVRT100.dll missing

Ok release delayed a little, I want to implement one more thing:

Saved presets :)

Great news Yoda. been waiting for it to come out.

Here is a little sample on how the Preset files will look like.

You can write/edit them yourself manually, or just let Leavu generate

them for you completely automatically.

EDIT: seems to be a direct X issue I reinstalled DX and all seems normal..

Hi yoda got an error while trying to run LEVU 1.1v? I think it is, so here the error report from $MS$. Not too sure if its LEVU but what

happen was while running it in another screen 7inch lilliput non touch no frame. win7 64bit my FC 2.0 started freezing and got an hardware report.

also had conec to dlink looking too maybe that caused it?

Edit: It happened again running LEAVU and the Java seems to hang the program. " C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe "

Can this mod be used to export the A10 mav TVM, RWD, and or perhaps the F10 theatre view?

Leavu allows you to display aircraft instruments on secondary displays without running a multimonitor setup on your machine - basically your computer exports the instrument states and another computer intercepts that over the LAN, and THAT computer runs the MFD displays you see in the video. This avoids overly complex display setups as well as FPS-loss from running multiple displays with different settings.

ERI modifies APG-63 behaviour to more closely mirror the real thing.

lets not forget that anyone connected to LEAVU server can see on their secondary monitor (or any monitor actually) what radar of another aircraft(s) sees... a datalink which can be used on any aircraft, russian or US, even strike aircraft that have no radar :music_whistling:

Well, I don't use it so I don't know all the details of it. ;)

The main feature I'm interested in is it's ability to serve as a projector for a simpit HUD.

Leavu will have IFF where the game does. If this changes in the game, it will change in Leavu,

It is 20 pages, but mostly just pictures, maybe 5-7 pages text
