Plans change. We will now base it on how long the title has been for sale.

Fair enough.

It's 45 Celsius outside here, ie. it's definitely not winter no matter how good the prices....

I feel your pain, during the summers here in AZ we get 45-47C quite a bit.

Get a discount DCS module nonetheless, might help take your mind off the heat... ;)

I like such things. Just bought BS2 English, I have Russian but it is not compatible :)

10 EUR is great price :)

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

I just bought the A-10C, Mi-8, Ka-50 and FC3 from the ED site (and lock-on off ebay.. :ranting:)

The three first will keep me pretty busy for a while I guess :joystick:

Someone might remember me as 'FlyingRussian' from the Ubisoft Lock-On forum back in '03

...judging by how much the A10C rolls when the stick is apparently centered.

You do know about trimming the A-10, right?

Not yet, as I only bought it yesterday and haven't flicked through the manual, although I would have assumed it to be fly straight with a straight stick. Have to have a read on that.

However, as the P51D does it (after I counteract engine torque), various driving games also yaw to the right, and windows reports a slightly rightwards action when calibrating it with the stick centered, it's definitely the joystick.

Not suprising as it is over 10 years old and has seen a fair bit of use. Left hat is broken as well :)

Even you have perfectly straight stick it does not mean that A10 will fly straight. DCS World is very detailed sim, so due to many different parameters like weight balance (fuel and weapon), wind, damages, etc. flight path can be affected dynamically during the flight. Therefore plane has trim feature that allows pilot to compensate those various distracting factors.

Good luck!

Trim? As in trimming your aircraft or as in some new utility?

Aircraft trim. You should spend a lot of time doing it in the A-10.

Well yes, obviously :)

Although it is handy to know the A10 requires a lot of manual trimming by the sounds of it, I was perhaps naively assuming as it was a more modern plane compared to the P51D, some of the need for constant manual work for general flying may have been lessened.
