C-130 isss…. I wouldn’t.
If the Bullseye concentration doesn’t kill the mission or a pilot in 30 minutes, it’s a result. If a flight group was directed to intercept something somewhere at sea, than suddenly a refuelling AI tanker becomes relevant.
Escorting a client who’s mission success depends on subsequent development might be the view outside of the box.

New MP Mission:

Those Pesky Americans are trying to tap our glorious leader's cell phone calls again! We have a contact doing a race track just inside our territory! Intercept it 10 minutes after mission start.

That is why those aircraft fly their tracks OUTSIDE their territory!!! And they monitor the air defense channels in case the alert fighters launch. Believe me, they have thought of this!!

You want to see paranoid?

A light aircraft for forward reconnaissance could be interesting too. Something small and agile.

This looks like damn good fun! Heavily modified Turbo Pawnee. Who said props were boring?!!

Best regards,
Tango.

It's all nose-cone and no fuselage!

Best regards,

Actually the turbine barely extends past the end of the exhaust! Those PT6s are tiny. They are also mounted "backwards" compared to other turbine engines.

Which way does this fly?
Volume to off checked, check list complete.
Nice aircraft though, better on a carrier in bad weather.

The engine still is reasonably long even with that setup. If you look at a PC-7/9/21 it takes up the entire nose and stops at around the ECS duct just forward of the canopy, or look at the King Air's nacelle.
