Nooch
Hi, I'm wondering what is a proper approach for the A-10C. I did the mission and found the procedures given by the instructor somewhat confusing and not complete, regarding adequate speeds especially. In the attachment below I've drawn how I am performing the approach in blue and red. Could someone please tell me if that's correct? Thank you. Sabre-TLA
If I recall correctly the trigger check is done using the Glide Slope indicator on the HSI. A good rule of thumb to follow as well is 300' of altitude for every mile of distance from the runway touchdown. https://www.theairlinepilots.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=690 MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
