petsild
Projection of the rear view mirror indicates the angle is shifted by 90°. Otherwise a very useful feature, but for the Hornet are now useless. MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4, Kingston 3600 MHz 64 Gb, i5 12600K, Gigabyte RTX 4090, Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus,VKB NXT Premium. Eldur
Main problem is that they are not just reflecting. They rather work kinda like screens mapped to cameras positioned to make it seem those would be actual mirrors. That's also the reason they eat up so much performance. I've seen real time reflections 20 years ago already in other game engines without performance loss and was hoping for 2.5 to do the step forward as well. But I pretty much guess this actually is somwhere on their todo list since DCS is a living product.
petsild
Mirrors for other modules are normal, when I remember how long it took to get the mirrors on the Spitfire. Donut
yeah can't see anything with them. i just disabled it to gain some fps I disable as well. When I use them I get a 30 or so drop in FPS. The mirrors need a lot of work overall. i5 7600K @4.8GHz | 1080 Ti | 32GB 3200MHz | SSD | DCS SETTINGS | "COCKPIT"
petsild
What are the artifacts in the mirrors for the Hornet? On the contrary, fully functional and nice, has the F-14, which still isn released. =4c=Nikola
Mirrors in aircraft are not installed to allow pilots to correct makeup. It's useless to look at your head during bfm. Do not expect fairness. The times of chivalry and fair competition are long gone.
petsild
It is necessary to change the position of the head of the basic view, only then you will see a useful six.
