I was able to change the port number, after uninstalling an old Arduino device and your application now sees it. I have family commitments the next few days, which means I probably won't have time for DCS the next few days, but I am looking forward to getting it working!

I am trying get the first 1/2 of the current groups out today. For those of you who got your tracking info, would any of you be like the FCUs pictured. They are already made for an U.S. Air Force order. I can finish the standard ones also, this would just speed things up to get them out today.

Just tried your alpha state GUI, but unfortunately I wasn't able to test it.

I'm using a very primitive low res monitor (1360x768 ). Who needs a fancy monitor when you have an HMD, right? :smilewink:

Only problem is, I can't see the entire GUI window, as it exceeds my monitors resolution (see screenshot). No idea how difficult it'd be to implement, but could you maybe add something like a scroll bar for old fashion people like me?

They just say “HAWG” and “ATTACK” on the side of the FCUs, as far as I know that’s the only difference.

Everyone who has paid, should have received their tracking numbers already, and I hope to have most, if not all of the orders out by Monday. The new group will be announced as soon as the last one goes out door.

I actually got a chance to finally set up some aircraft and fly a little DCS tonight. I forgot how much I enjoy flying the Huey. And I have say, that PointCTRL does work pretty damn good when you are actually using it, and not just testing.

With the little time I spent flying tonight, I can really see the need for virtual buttons intuitively placed around the perimeter of the FOV for all of the admin stuff.

Only after I get Chics PointCTRL, for Non/VR done though. I got your patient nudge Chic.

Hey Miles, been spending quite some time in VR over the holidays. Gotta say - cannot fly without PointCTRL anymore. I really appreciate the work you put into this and I can only imagine how much better things will get over time.

Miles, I saw your room scan video and was curious if you've implemented modulated IR Tx/Rx to help filter out false inputs from the daylight (like TV remotes use).

Possibly, might have missed it then. Just checked Discord earlier today and got the impression it was updated very recently (yesterday) to be my turn. Getting closer either way... :-) Happy New Year!

not sure what I'm doing wrong.. probably newbie error. When I enter calibration mode the cursor on my screen doesnt make a circle and when I step through the various menus the cursor movements do not match the doc. When I use the gui to select 'cursor limits', I see no blue target crosses in my headset:(.. what am I missing?

I'm definitely entering calibration mode by pressing the right button and getting the solid green light... that part is right.

Hey Guys, the new firmware has a different menu system. Its re-designed to be used with the GUI/AUI. If you have the GUI up it will show and tell you what menu item you are on, and describe the procedure.

I am working on updating the instructions, but if you run the GUI you wont need them.

Don't forget to hop over to the PointCTRL discord channel to get support quicker than here.

Is it possible that since the latest firmware update, the HMS is set more sensitive?

Since I updated it, it seems to have quite a bit more issues with infrared interference. I must say though, that I didn't re-calibrate the device yet. I'm not sure if that is recommended after flashing the firmware, but I thought I'd wait with that until I could use the new GUI.
