jojo
Yes’ it’s cool to watch. I think it’s standard manœuvre for Rafale solo display since at least 2006 with Dassault test pilot: Eric Gerard. Here is 2013 Le Bourget (Paris Air Show) with French Air Force Pilot: “Tao”. Features cockpit footage and voice comments from the pilot (in French, sorry :D) You will see the same manoeuvre at the end of the video. Same thing with “Marty” in 2017: Flight simulator, the scene is Istres FAF base, south of France So the key point for the landing are: - 500ft vertical runway - 60° climb - @ 240kt half roll to go inverted - 2800ft at 115kt pull on the stick. Lading gear extension during the vertical descent. Edited November 6, 2018 by jojo Mirage fanatic !
