Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a Modeled Scud or similar ballistic missile in game or in the works would love to go on a low level hunt avoiding SAM's, EWR, AAA. to kill either of these and then race out of the territory before QRF shows up.

I have not found anything on these in game which is a shame they would make for some great HVT's.

UNFORTUNATLY only for Flaming cliffs 2. Maybe somebody can make it compatible with 2.2 or something.....

Have fun... :D

I don't know how are you going to even dream to get anywhere close to those missiles as they are so deep and surrounded with all kind air defense layers and ground troops that you would need one of those to clear the way to them.... :D

Low fast and following the Terrain to mask the strike package !

Yeah, we sure couldn't kill any SCUD's in Iraq.......

I agree this would be great as an HVT. It doesn't have to shoot, it just has to exist as a MacGuffin.

Exactly, like a Static Object would be great.

or

If someone is Savy enough one that moves and sets up and preps for launch, you could have a unit that moves to a waypoint "to get into range" and then a "timer" starts for launch setup, fueling, etc. it then launches and you have a "AceC" type event where you have a minimal time to blast it out the sky before is disappears which btw is the least favorable type of scenario.

or it launches and you have a mission failed missile launch detected. they could also drastically cut its range and use it like a artillery pieces already in the game. ex GRAD, m270. but with a larger damage radius in regards to effectiveness. either way it stinks that its missing and fingers crossed they add one of the systems or all of them:D but if i had to choose the most well known is the SCUD

300 km (190 mi) is the Scud B's range the R-17 (SS-1C Scud-B), renamed R-300 in the 1970s, was the most prolific of the series, with a production run estimated at 7,000. It served in 32 countries and four countries besides the Soviet Union. and the Caucasus map is i believe 400km x 400km so if they cut the range in half it would be perfect.

Static only.....for now.

No weapon.......for now

Call it a "test" version

We may have a surprise in store with this........:D

"Yeah, and though I work in the valley of Death, I will fear no Evil. For where there is one, there is always three. I preparest my aircraft to receive the Iron that will be delivered in the presence of my enemies. Thy ALCM and JDAM they comfort me. Power was given unto the aircrew to make peace upon the world by way of the sword. And when the call went out, Behold the "Sword of Stealth". And his name was Death. And Hell followed him. For the day of wrath has come and no mercy shall be given."
